It seems like you've got faces on top of faces in the UVs or in the mesh itself. Is that the same scene we provided for download in the source files?
Just in case you are still wondering, I found out what you did wrong(I did it myself...) You didn't assign an image texture node to all of the materials. Once you do that, you get the correct appearance. I hope that helps!
