A comment rather - easier UV positioning

I modeled the leaf of the bush this way:

  1. kept the cursor at scene origo
  2. created a plane the same size as the reference image
  3. entered edit mode
  4. created another plane and modeled the leaf from this
  5. selected all
  6. Changed into top view
  7. created UV mapping (Project From View(Bounds))
  8. removed the bigger plane
  9. moved the leaf to the object origin

This way I didn't have to spend time positioning and scaling the leaf to the texture image. The bigger plane took care of the positioning.
