I'm not sure what I've done, but my drawing performance is terrible. I draw a long stroke in any mode (space/line, etc) and it takes sometimes 3 seconds for the stroke to show up. I've recorded a gif where you will see it takes over 10 seconds for a line to show up after stroking it. Any ideas?
I have a pretty beefy computer with a GTX970 so I'm not sure what's going on.
Oh yikes that does look terrible! What's the resolution of the texture you're painting? A stray zero or two might cause things to slow to a crawl, but other than that I'm really not sure. If you've tried everything (restarting, opening model and texture in a new file, etc...) then send me a Pasteall or Dropbox link to the file and I'll see if it happens on my end.
Thanks for the answer, Jon.
I can confirm the resolution is 512 x 512 pixels. It runs ok after a restart for a short while but then the same problem returns. The best test might be to try the same model on my laptop to rule out the computer being the problem.
In the meantime you can get my file from this link.
That is very strange, it's slow on my computer as well. Adjusting the normal settings didn't do anything, so it looks like a bug to me.
