In Object mode the widgets stand out so well but when i change into pose mode they become far less bold and return to thin lines. i was wandering if there is a way to make the widget stand out as well as they do in object mode so they are easier to pic out? not sure if there is a way but if there is i would love to know about it. i find the lines shown in object mode much easier to pick out when things get complicated.

Hey ddirge0matic , there's no way to make them bolder that I am aware of. The only thing that can be made thicker is the selected outline width, which you can change in the User Preferences -> Themes -> 3D View about 3/4 of the way down the page.
