Are we supposed to stick to painting? Wanted to try baking normal maps w/ multi-res.

I notice the UI we are given is lacking the outliner and properties viewports - are we meant to just stick to painting?


I thought I might try out the multi-resolution modifier and bake a normal / displacement map from it if we were allowed to.

    Hey vvexoul , sounds like a great experiment! You're welcome to do that as well if you'd like, but the diffuse does need to be painted by hand. Normal / bump maps can sometimes be used to hide flaws in the painted texture, so just be extra sure you're not using it as a crutch. Looking forward to seeing your result!
