Deformation Bones missing

So after adjusting the bones to my Mesh, I generated the controls. The next step was to bring up the deformation bones. But somehow I messed this up & not all of the bones are generated as Deformation bones. What did I do wrong?

    Look at your bone layers. Rigify's deformation bones should be hidden in a disabled layer. But even though they're hidden, whenever you parent your mesh to rigify, the system will automatically weight your mesh to the def bones only. So practically, you never need to worry about seeing the def bones.
