Where should i put my texture images? blender uses a relative path system?
Blender can use relative or absolute paths. You can also "pack" external files (like textures) into the .blend file. It's very flexible.
In short, you can put your images anywhere. The way you organize your project (.blends, reference images, texture images, baked simulation data, renders, etc) is up to you. There's not a right way or wrong way; just organized vs disorganized.
