Why do i always get bad edges when baking?

Having a lot of trouble with this lesson....


Whenever I bake normals, I ALWAYS get those bad edges as seen in this tutorial. Even when I separate all the individual Sharp parts as their own UV islands, the baking process always always ALWAYS tacks on a little "grime" on the edges of those faces and causes alot of artifacting. If marking those edges as Seams doesn't solve it, what else could be causing this?

    Interesting, how much padding do you have around each island? If they don't have padding then you may see them even though they are set as seams. Do you happen to have a screenshot of the issue?

    Hey Jonathan! Sorry for the late reply. Here is a screenshot. As you can see, there is plenty of space between the islands. It always tacks on the artifacts onto every island. It just barely shows up on the UVs.
