What about denim? I can do my own test, I just thought that since it was such a common material that it would be covered.

Hey Justin! Denim would fall somewhere between cotton and felt. I tried to select fabrics that were on the extreme ends of the scale, one way or another. But what you learn in these videos can easily be applied to sculpting denim as well, just like any other conceivable fabric out there. If you want to sculpt denim jeans on a figurine, I suggest to either wear a pair of jeans and take a photo of yourself in the desired pose, or search for suitable reference images online to help you sculpt the fabric so that it looks exactly the way you want it to.

Wow, thank you so much for such a quick response. I figured that was the case, I was just a bit surprised it was not covered. But, yes i can find reference plus your instruction for the uncover materials. Your instruction is great and I hope to put into practical application soon.

If you found an application for the technique, please feel free to post your work in the community or obviously on here for grading, should you decide to do the exercise. Either way, I'd love to see it, so make sure to tag me when posting in the community (thesculptress) :)
