This video goes a bit too quickly. While I was still trying to figure out what the differences were in the animations, it was already going on to the next one. The differences weren't immediately clear to me. After playing around for awhile, I think I get them now somewhat ... I had to refer back to Jonathan Williamson's old Fluid Simulation tutorial. For Fluid Control, I keep getting a giant glob instead of the Suzanne shape. I assume that's just resolution settings? What settings are needed for the Control object's quality, and for the Fluid's resolution?

    Thank you for your feedback! You'll definitely need to increase the resolution in order to see a defined shape. The lower the resolution, the more blobby it will be. In the example I use a resolution of 90 for the domain and a quality of 20 for the control.
