So, I have a slight problem here:
When I select 2 verts and make an edge, the edge loop stops at the verts that make up the edge.
If i create a face after selecting 4 verts, the direction of the edgeloop changes from going "down" with a 50°~ angle to going UP a 90° angle.
If i then create a pol in the edge loop by extruding verts, the pol gets ignored completely. It doesn't matter if it's a triangle or a pol with 14 edges.
I am kind of out of my depth. :( It doesn't make sense at all, going by your good explanation.
Do I have additional geometry somewhere? (I removed doubles multiple times)
Do I have to create faces in edge-select so the flow doesn't break?
Do my poles get ignored because of not creating edges in edge-select?
