    Is there a fast way to switch between Pose mode and Weight mode? The problem is that pose mode is for the armature while weight is for the model. Is there some kind of a shortcut I can use?

      When in Weight Paint Mode, you can rotate whichever bone is selected to test your weight painting. You can select by CTRL + CLICK and rotate with typical R hotkey.
