@ 3:05 you tell us about the curved bone segment under deform. I have the bbone selected and everything but the menu curved bones doesn't show up for me.
Interesting, it seems that since this video was recorded Blender has updated bendy bones' and their settings UI. Now instead of the "Deform" panel, there's a new "Bendy Bones" panel.
