In case you set an array like in 0:50 to the exact length of the object, and the copied object's front and back side are exactly the same (like it is perfectly happening when using a box like in this example) and you additionally activate the "Merge" feature, what happens with those matching faces? Will Blender delete them, or will it create lot's of T-joints along the array?

    Seems like the later lesson about the Mirror Modifier already answered this. So: never forget to clean up your connection sides before using the merge feature! ;)
