Is there a reason why you took a cube with the subdivision modifier instead of a sphere?

The UV sphere has extreme star junctions at the top and bottom which doesn't smooth nicely. If you're using dynamic topology this isn't a big deal but for multi-res sculpting those kinds of star junctions are a pain.
