Why aren't my meshes updated after applying the MeshDeform modifier? You said I must press TAB after it's binded, but nothing happens. I'm using v2.78.

    I am having the same problem. My mesh is behaving like this example (https://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/61734/mesh-deform-modifier-not-working). The mesh is not stretching to the fit L.eye.meshdef. Need help ,please.

    I figured it out. Just activate the mesh deform modifiers before adding the lattice modifier to the meshdef

    Or just don't deform the lattice into a rectangle until you're finished adding the meshdeforms. So, you'll have to do it a little backwards from the video.

    just reverse the steps, and it works.

    Means, don't apply lattice first. Apply MeshDeform modifier first.
