I just signed up and finished the second lesson. I have the cookieFlexRig, but I need to prepare it. I was expecting to find this information in this class. Will this get covered here?

This video is entitled "Viewport & Timeline" and is in the section entitled "Blender's animation tools".
It doesn't cover the flex rig, instead covering the animation tools in Blender's viewport and timeline.
For instructions on the how to use the flex rig, refer to the videos in the section "Using the CG Cookie Flex Rig".
