Hello! Great tutorial, I was just wondering if you could point me to a tutorial here that deals with the basics of rigging? From the ground up. This tutorial is amazing, but a bit advanced for a complete noob like me :) Esepcially with the part of the controlling bones and what IK and FK are and stuff :)

Kent mentioned an excellent rigging course called 'Humane Rigging', by Nathan Vegdahl. Nathan did release it under Creative Commons, so you can watch it for free here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-0oBXJZwQE, but if you can afford to buy it and offer him a little support, it's well worth the purchase over here: https://store.blender.org/product/humane-rigging. The series was created between Blender versions 2.59 to 2.62 - but don't let that put you off. I went through it in v2.77a and I can't immediately recall anything that wasn't still applicable to the current version. It doesn't cover Spline IK or Hook modifiers, but you can fill in the gaps with YouTube or other resources if you feel the need.
