I don't know why, but if I use the snake hook, it don't turn out nice...and I have the right settings I guess... is it a problem if I use a different method on this part? Because I saw in another step, you are going to work with polygons over this sculp model..I hope you'll answer this question! thank you :)

    You can use whichever method works for you. But are you saying you don't get the same Snake Hook behavior that you see demonstrated in the video?

    I had a similar problem. I discovered by going to https://developer.blender.org/T39373 that the following has changed: "Collapse Short Edge" from Blender 2.69 is now called "Collapse Subdivide" in Blender 2.7 I think the other student made the same mistake I did - set it to the new "Collapse edges" option because it sounds the most similar. When collapse subdivide seems to give results more similar to your video. Let me know if this is correct, thanks!
