here's a probably dorky question - during the "Alpha Over" bit, why is the image being applied on top, on the BOTTOM image connector? it kinda messes w/ my logic OCD :-D in modifier stacks, the mods are plied top down, it would make sense to me 9probably as a Photoshop user) that the images should be connected/stacked in the depth order you'd see looking at the pic.

Not a dorky question - I had the same problem when I first got into Blender. In Blender, list order is always ascending visually. Like making a numbered list on a piece of paper. So modifiers 'stack' on top of each other but are visually listed with the 'bottom' modifier at the top of the list. It helps for me to think of them numbered. Number 1 is at the top of the list but it comes before Number 2 in the list. Same with node inputs: Input 2 goes over Input 1 because it's subsequent. Does that makes sense? Trust me, I know it's confusing to get used to..

Ahh....yeah, that's making sense now. Like i say, it's probably my Photoshop top-down brain getting annoyed. cheers
