I’ve been browsing the course library and may be overlooking it, but I’m having trouble finding a course focused on creating human-like, stylized characters specifically for animation.
My goal is to take a character from sculpt > retopo > rig > animation, ideally with something that walks through the full process end to end. I’ve found great individual courses on rigging and animation, but I’m curious if there’s a recommended course, or even a playlist that covers the whole pipeline.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Sean! It will be exciting to follow your journey in this community. Where you start depends on your prior knowledge, I guess. I wish you all the best
Yes courses usually come out in chunks, because single courses that focus in the whole pipeline take too much to produce. So that is why you find them in parts. There is one course from more than 10 years ago that covered the whole pipeline production, it's the Piero course, starting with its concept art:

Then the full on 3D production:

And there is also the pilot one:

Don't feel like they have no value because it's an old Blender UI, core 3D knowledge hasn't change since then, so even all this time later is like 95% relevant.
Thanks a ton, Omar. I'll take a look at these!
I found the Basemesh course too, planning on checking that one out as soon as I finish Kent's CORE sculpting course:
