TexTools - errors with 5.0 Blender

I was getting errors while trying to use the Rectify tool in Textools, so I did some digging. It looks likes the addon hasn't been fully updated for Blender 5.0 and isn't functional (at least the UV Editing tools.)

Luckily Chunck showed how to do it in vanilla Blender as well; but if anyone has a similar addon that works well or information on Textools I missed feel free to link it :) !

Usually you wait a little while and the dev will do same hacking and codes and it'll work on the latest Blender version, but it takes a while. Also e-mailing the dev to say please could you work on the version for the latest Blender is allowed as well.

I haven't used it, but what I found was on Github, and that it hasn't been updated for a while:

Just chiming in as well to mention two alternatives, for anyone who is looking.

Lately, I've been using an extension called UniV. I've been pretty happy with it, seems to do everything I need it to and is feature parity with what I've wanted out of Textools! I have also just been introduced to another called Mio3 UV, it looks incredibly robust and I am looking forward to testing it out myself here sometime soon.

I've used Mio3 UV a little bit and so far like it quite a bit. The Rectify it offers came in clutch when I had to unwrap and square up a bunch of geometry hair strands on a model awhile back.
