constrain logic

I watched the video and still don't understand what is the purpose of having constraints on our rig

how is that suppose to make the rig easier to handle? How ctrl bones will make it simple to manipulate def bones?

    Hi Samy.

Let's take a really simple example.
Imagine you want your character to walk with their feet sticking to the ground - without constraints this is pretty much impossible just by manipulating the def bones.

The IK constraint will let the feet stick to the ground while you move the torso.
This will make the animation possible.

The art of rigging is learning how to combine the many different types of constraints together to make all sorts of animation possible.
