Hi everyone,

Here is a scene I’ve been working on in Blender. I’d appreciate any tips for improving it—camera view, lighting, the story… anything you think might help.

I'd say shadows can be your friend. Such a scene would appear much darker and have a more dramatic lighting. In your scene there's light everywhere, most likely from that thing we all have that we want to show all of our work and we want all the textures to show so people can see how cool the work. But that always hurts composition. More dark, more moody, more atmospherics effects, I guess shinier surfaces since stuff would be wet. The old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies from the 90's come to my mind, which would probably have lots of cool mood references.

    The lighting is weird....

The white lights don't seem to actually contribute light to the scene (what are they lighting?) and the red light seems to be tiny but almost ridiculously strong (harsh shadows). It doesn't feel like there is a person in the scene, whose shadow is being cast on that wall. Maybe that's just me....

I also agree with what Omar says.
