I’m looking for a way to add a texture to a Greace Pencil fill. I know I can do it by adding the fill to a texture and loading the image. The problem is that I’d have to create a material for each texture.
Is there a way to add a texture to a fill individually without overloading my Blender with materials?

Paul could correct me if I'm wrong, but I think any textures (for fills or for strokes) are tied to the grease pencil materials they're being used on, so each different texture would have to be a different material. Now, while a single texture could (theoretically) be used in different materials, that wouldn't be as necessary as once you have the stroke down there are tools that would allow you to manipulate the textures... so if you wanted the same texture but at different sizes, that could simply be done with these tools, so that's one way you could minimize how many materials you're having to create. But if you wanted one stroke to have texture A and another to have texture B, you would have to have two seperate materials, one for each. (I think.)
