Feedback on this lesson

Having been through the Fundamentals of Texturing I have to say that the way the options and information is presented here makes absolutely no sense if you are coming to this without knowing anything. Without slowly building up the context of these options, what they do and why you need them in the process of texturing a real model I think it's counter productive. Having been away from CGC for a while and seeing these Core courses I completely understand why they've been created and the desire to condense (and update for Blender 4+) the fundamentals series. However I'm much less sure of the change in pedagogy and who has overseen and directed it for each course. The tutor seems to have forgotten what it's actually like to know nothing and how hard this stuff is to get your head around to begin with.

Appreciate the feedback. Some critique to chew on is always good.

huh? This is a specific comment about a specific lesson 'Understanding UV Editor' and how for me it's counter productive to try and go through mentioning how to do things which you don't know anything about. To use an analogy - it's telling you all about every feature of a car when you've never driven or sat in a car. I have no idea why you've gone off on a tangent about nodes, colour theory and procedural materials
