Bone Widgets Add-on Challenges

I'm trying to add the custom widget shapes to the control bones with the widget add-on. However, the tool is placing the widgets in different locations on the bones. Sometimes, on the left side of my rig, the widgets are snapping to the middle of the bones. However, if I try to add the widget to the right side or symmetrize it to the right side, it's snapping to the head of the bone instead of the middle.

I'm not quite sure what the source of the issue is. I'm guessing there might be some discrepancy involving the widget shape's origin vs. its geometry placement, which is causing an unintended offset, but I haven't figured it out yet.

I've linked my file in case anyone wants to take a look:

It figures that as soon as I posted the question, I found the source of the problem lol

There were some leftover transformations here (see screenshot). They were lingering even after I removed the widget shape through the add-on. Once I cleared them out to the default values, the widgets were placed as expected. Just edit the widget directly with the add-on instead of using these settings and you won't get bamboozled.
