I been looking at this character for such a long time that I don't even know what it needs. It is hard to replicate this character from the image because this is not a real photo of a real person. I am trying to start his lips out and work my way up. I have been practicing sculpting heads but been having a hard time so instead I used an already-made free base mesh and started changing his face in sculpture mode to the desired result which is the picture. Please tell me why his chin and lips don't look like the picture. I can't tell.

Kent is the master at this, but he is currently on a side quest and unavailable. But I'm just going to say that making humans is super duper ultra mega hard, it's the pinnacle of 3D graphics, so it's normal you're having a hard time. It takes lots and lots of practice to develop your eye. Me seeing the picture and your model, I can clearly see the difference, because of course I didn't model it so I haven't been starting at it for hours and hours, that is why it is always advised to take a break and come back to it in a day or two. When it comes to human likeness, it's mind blowing how a tiny bit of deviation will make someone appear different, you have to hit the target so close to the goal, because of human evolution and stuff, we're so used to seeing and reading faces, it's very hard to fool the eye. So just keep at it, takes breaks and have grit, if you practice you will get better.
