Way too much time on correcting fixing re-doing materials

These courses are becoming too tedious with the amount of effort put into all these materials. Materials are and individual choice and every lesson is correct this, tidy that on materials. Quit spending so much time on materials.

Hello Robert. Materials and the way light interact with them is what gives the render its quality, aesthetic, realism, etc. So it makes sense to spend a lot of time in them. Getting your brain to get the hang of the mess of noodles that can come about materials can take time and specially patience and it can get frustrating. But once you get the hang of them you wont be able to get enough of them, you'll spend so much time perfecting your materials, trying to get that reflection just right, that smudge just right, hours and hours will go by on the tiniest of things.

The shader nodes are so complex and in depth it’s really been helpful learning to use them. Learning to “crtl, shift, click” on the nodes as you go left to right to view the item you’re working on was a big leap forward for me. THANKS Kent!! I have the desire to have an in depth knowledge of shaders and materials.
The lessons on  them are excellent and in depth, as they should be. It’s a lot to take in Robert. You will soon have a vast understanding of these shader nodes. It’s finicky and time consuming but it will be well worth it.
