I'm revisiting this amazing course, may be I'll finish it this time ! :)
Playing with the modelling tools we explore in the first sections, I came up with this belt.
End of the trip:
Here what I decided to call the final low poly setup, the whole outfit is 9660 tris, all packed on one texture. It's occupying 62% of the UV space, I could not do better.
The buttons are hidden, I'll use instances as in the course for the chain.
I can start learning to texture that, now :)
a whole new profession to learn in fact, here the first pass I could pull out :
I don't know Blind Melon.
If she'd be a singer she'd rather be Catherine Ringer in the Rita Mitsouko https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGZRVGlGZ6A , you're right about the 90s though :)
Making first tests for final render composition and lights. I'll still try to upgrade the materials on the outfit, but I want to finish this project for the end of the week - before it kills me ^^
The character is the Female BaseMesh from CharacterCreator. I wish I had time to do the Hair but for now I use a pack from Reallusion CC.
Second iteration and I will practice my shading muscle on these cubes.
One more iteration. I don't know if I'll keep one or two shadows in the back, tell me what you think.
Still i must upgrade the outfit materials ^^
Yeah, it's obvious one shadow is kind of bad funshui. Here is the last iteration. I think I won't go a lot farther, I'll try to do a better effect on the short, but it is reluctant to obey. It looks better on the viewport...
