as you can see here ..... why in the edit mode whole the face is assigned to the material while ...... when going to the object mode it's acting like this ..... how to fix this please ..... thanks in advance
That is your Subdivision Surface Modifier, (that is disabled in Edit Mode, hence the difference):
Subdiv Modeling is an 'art', you can't just Add it to any Mesh.

Usually you need holding edges in the corners when you subdivide, when you don't have them the material gets dragged like that. There was a lesson in a course where JL explained why that happened. Can't remember where it was. I'll try searching for it.
