Animationa and Geometry nodes Help!

Hello all,

I need some help please in Geometry nodes and animation, I have 2 object a rectangle and a sphere.

the sphere is moveing up and down and it should be linked to the rectangle

the rectangle is rotated on X axises 360 degree

Here is what I want:

1- How to link my sphere aniamtion to the aniamted rectangle.

2- How to duplicate this setup 6 time in linear way.

3- I want to add alittle bit of offest to the spheres aniamtion when I duplicte them.

I tried to use array and I have to add arry to every object alone, and that make its not good when I want to offset the aniamtion and I have to convert the setup to mesh to try to offset it.

here is what I am trying to get simmilar result:

I was trying to do it using geometry nodes too, But I faced the same issuue for the Ball aniamtion too.

Thanks for your help.

    Hi BBlendash,

What I would do, is Parent the Ball to the 'Rectangle'. Give it a Left/Right Animation and give the Rectangle a Rotational Animation.

You should be able to figure out the rest yourself.

(Maybe look at the NLA Editor?)

Don't use an Array Modifier. Simply Offset the Animations for the Copies.

You could also use Drivers to Offset the Animations, dependent on the X-Location of the Objects.

I use array modifire to be eay for me to change the model at any time I need, So that couese the problem?

Is there awat to duplicate the animartion and do the offset and be able to edit the orginal models and to change in the other duplicates?

With the Array Modifier, you have just one Object. That's why you can't Offset the Animation easily.

What you want will probably be 'easiest' with Geometry Nodes, but it's not something straightforward anymore that way.

You'll probably want to somehow use the Location of the Copies to control the Offset, but I'm not sure how that'll work exactly.

I tried geometry node and copied the rectangle and offset it and it was as i want, But when it comes to the spherè I dont know how to offset it and make it animated along/ linked to the rectangle animation and offset while its animated up and down.

I hope someone can help me in that.

Thank you for your help Martin.
