Primitive Modelling Challenge - Rocket by BioEnchanted

Polybooks

I've started researching the basics of blender as I've tried to jump too far into the deep end and got stuck, and the problem is a lot of tutorials jump from "Draw a Circle" to "Draw the rest of the owl" so this seems to be a good place to go to connect the dots. I've made this render of a rocket taking off based off of a photo I found online. I had to futz with the camera and lighting a bit to get it to display properly in the render :Pimitive Exercise.png

Cool, gets the message across with simple primitives. Didn't even had to look at the tittle to see a rocket taking off with all the fire and smoke.

  • Thanks. Here's my second project, the Sci Fi Crate. I used the design of the treasure chests from the Temple of the Ancients in FF7 Rebirth. I did forget to make the lid and latch separate objects though, so there are some unnecessary loops in places.

You know, the temple of the ancient and the forgotten capital in the original FF7 had such a great music score, you can hear the cries of the planets I think it is, and they made such a good job with orchestras and stuff for the whole music in the game, I was so looking forward to the orchestral version in the remake of you can hear the cries of the planet, and I hate it was the only piece of music that was totally worst in rebirth than in the original FF7.
