The Hard drive course was fun but the Booleans made my computer slow down and wait for 5 seconds before making a change. the courses are enjoyable and made my workflow in other projects speed up tremendously.

    Looking great!

And yes, Booleans are 'expensive'. This will hurt Laptops more than Desktops (because they tend to get hotter faster).

As an alternative, you could also model 1 hole (easy with the Loop Tools Addon), Add Array Modifiers:

In Object Mode Apply the Modifiers and Rotate the Object 45Β°. Maybe Fill in some Faces at the Edges and Delete what you don't need (the inverse of what is Selected here):

Don't get me wrong, Booleans are great and you should learn to use them, but if you need to do Booleans with many Objects, it can get heavy on your machine. Applying the Boolean Modifiers, or finding another solution, might be a good idea then, before your computer starts smokingπŸ˜‰

Finished the Mesh Fundamentals Learning. Now on to the final exercise of modeling a room. Super useful course, I've learned a lot and has helped me in understanding why my other projects are being so difficult.

    Looking good, Manuel!

Just the black of the cookie's left eye seems to extend a bit too far over the upper 'eyelid'. (Might be simply due to an accidental Rotation on the X-Axis or so, not sure...)

Yes as Martin pointed out. Also maybe the cookie could benefit from an extra SubD level to get a bit more resolution.Β
