I removed the other seams and when I unwrapped the body of the t-shirt was a mess as you can see from the grid. WIth the other items it all went well, but don't know how to fix this to get the right result as it was intended
Hello Sheila
Although I'm not a professional, you don't need to “unwrap” the whole T-shirt except for the collar. At least that's my understanding and it works.
Unless you want to create something else.
I already unwrapped it so can't go back to the old version. When I tried to put back the seems it didn't look right. ps love your bee print
perhaps I just append my old t-shirt and start over with the collar
edit-
I started over and it looks ok from the front but the back is aweful
Hi sheila5,
On the course I only unwrapped the collar, because that's the only party I've added a texture that needed UVs.
If you wanna do something else in the rest of the t-shirt you can go ahead and add your own seams to unwrap the whole t-shirt. Let me know if you need any help with that.
In the next lessons I'm going to show how to unwrap the pants and after that you can go back and try to unwrap the whole t-shirt again if you want that.
I found making seams in the right place always quite challenging. But I'll do my best. I haven't done anything creative yet with your model. Just following along. But I want to make a character from scratch later on so I do have to learn everything eventually.
I found out I had 2 inner faces in the armpits that messed everything up lol
think it's ok now
