My bevel modifier is not doing anything to my selected object.

I figured it out, I had to apply transformations first!!! Dhoo!!!

HI Xavier xortega , good that you figured that out; it is important to (almost) always Apply the Scale.

However, try to avoid Applying the Rotation and (almost) never Apply the Location. Please don't get into the habit to Apply > All Transforms, instead of Apply > Scale, 'just to be on the safe side'.

Got it, thank you! I think I ended up getting some funky things going on because of that. 4th time is the charm! Cheers all and happy holidays!

I also had to uncheck "clamp overlap" in the Geometry section of the modifier for it to work.

Thank you, I think I might have had the select edge instead of vertex selected too, so it wansn't showing up.

If you used modifier, try rearranging the order, sometimes that helps. I hope it works. If you already applied scale to all objects being manipulated, I would try that next.

    HI Omar oomar4799 ,

Could you give us more context, please? A screenshot of the full UI might also help.

Clamp Overlap and not Applied Scale are indeed the most common issues, when the Bevel Modifier seems to do nothing, but it could be something completely different.
