Trouble moving duplicated circle for buttons

posted to: Outlining the Shape

When I create and scale the first circle for the button, then duplicate it using Shift+D, pressing G to move the duplicate causes a couple of vertices to scale oddly, and the duplicate doesn’t move as expected. Additionally, I noticed that the unmoving duplicated circle either has a missing connected edge or one of its edges is not highlighted. What might be causing this issue?

I just read another question and answer that I initially did not realize was related. I created the circle in edit mode. Let's try again...

    Hi ShawnOfTheDead207 ,

I believe, that Duplicating the Circle in Edit Mode was not wrong in this case.

If some Vertices move along unexpectedly, double-check that they were not accidentally Selected. Also make sure that Proportional Editing is not enabled! (The shortcut key for that is O and is easy to hit by accident (instead of 0, for instance). You can also have turned it on deliberately and just forgot to turn it off again.)
