    Can't Use Shortcut

    Does anyone else have the problem that after using blender for a while, maybe 10-15 minutes, the shortcuts like S, G, R or Z no longer work? The tab to switch edit or object mode works fine. Is it because I switch to a chrome tab to watch tutorial videos?

    I temporarily fix it by closing and reopening the app, but I want to find a better way

      Hm, weird...

      Never heard of that. I'm pretty sure that switching to Chrome has nothing to do with it. Although, You'll need to click on the Blender window, to make it active again, after having watched a video, or Blender won't react at all...

      Never in more than 10 years have that happened to me either. All I can think of is what Martins said. Try making a video next time it happens, just to rule out if it's user error and not a glitch.
