    I can't get the loop to work

      I am afraid I can't see what's wrong from just your screenshot; if you could upload your .blend file (to Dropbox, Googledrive, or so) and post a link here, we will (hopefully) be able to troubleshoot.

      The most likely cause will be the in the noise textures, the value of the second noise texture on the last frame +1 should be the same as the first noise texture on frame 0.
      As Spikey said, sharing the .blend will help find the correct solution.

      Thank you for your responses! I believe the error was due to using the factor in one of the noise texture nodes and the color in the other.

      Oh, of course!

      How did I miss that? (Probably because I tried to answer that before my morning coffee😉)

      FYI: the Factor of the Noise Texture is the same as the Red Channel of the Color Output Socket.
