I have been using Blender for awhile. My 10 year old nephew has just watch me using it recently. He would like to learn how but I can't find anything geared for his age tutorial wise(PDF is preferred). Does anyone have suggestions?
I'm not sure what age kids can learn Blender, but I remember a long while back a kid named Mason? I think it was, and he was making some super good renders and he was 14 at the time, I think he is like 22 now or something and I think he works with Andrew Price? I'm not sure but I also tried teaching my 10 year old nephew Blender and he was making progress but like all kids he got sidetracked with Fortnite. I am also not sure if CG Cookie has PDF's, maybe the other guys know. But you can try showing him the Blender basics. With the cool intro animations maybe it'll get his attention and the entire thing is free:

Yeah! I agree with Omar,
I don't think PDF's would be the right option, it may be for you as the teacher, but just like traditional art Blender is a visual thing.
Saying that, there are some awesome books you could consider for a present, Blender for Dummies authored by our very own Jason van Gumster would be a good start.

I personally think the courses here would be good for a kid. I'll check my YouTube when I get home from work. There was a guy who was working on a YouTube channel geared towards his then 12 year old daughter. I don't know how far he got.
As for PDFs I'd stay away from those at least until 2028. Next year is supposed to be the new animation system and everything nodes was originally scheduled for completion in 2026, but last I heard was pushed back to 2028. These projects will make some UI changes and the new animation system will effect workflow. Plus the new rigging tools system project which is linked to everything nodes project will definitely make UI changes.
