Mirrored Textures and Screen animation

Hi again!
I am getting a mirrored texture for the cartridge artwork and the animation! I *think* its because I may have modeled in a different direction than the tutorials somehow?

I was able to fix the texture with UV > Mirror > x axis, but then when I move the unwrapped texture around, of course the movement is mirrored too.

For the animation, I'm not sure where to transform it back.

And of course, how do I fix this in the object so that I don't do this in the future? Thanks!

My normals are ok and I compared my origin to the video and they seemed the same, so what gives?!!?

Perhaps your problem is in the material. Can you share a screenshot of your shader nodes? Most likely the mapping node is to blame.

Is this what you need to see? I didn't mofidy anything here except for adding the same parameters as the tutorial. I don't play around too much at first to avoid doing... exactly this and not knowing how to get back

    Solution

No mapping node. Ok then for sure it is the UV's. One thing you can do is go to top view with numpad 7 (so you get a unaltered flat view of the cartridge head on without any perspective) being in edit mode and with the face selected, you can hit U and then "Project from View" so you get an UV island that perfectly represents your cartridge cover. See if that helps.

Fixed it with a button press! It worked for both of them! Thank you. This was the last step in being able to render the project and move on with my learning
