    Modelling a spiral drill?

    How would you go modelling a spiral drill similar to the image shown?

    Where the spacing between each spiral is equidistant and the angle of the outer edge is nice and straight, and the end tip isn't a mess?

      Hi Ross,

      Maybe use a Screw Modifier and a Lattice, to get most of the work done:

      Then Apply the Modifiers and take care of the ends manually.

      Mind you, what you have in you picture seems to be a 'double' screw:

      but the principle is the same, model it straight first.

      Changing the Interpolation in the Lattice might also help:
