You can adjust the settings of Relax or Tweak by using F or Shift F while the key is being held down, though it is a bit of a stretch for the hands. You can even use Shift Q to switch between different presents while the temporary brush is active. Doing so does not affect the active brush for whatever tool is currently chosen.
