Hello. I have the same objects twice or more in my collections. If i try to clean one collection, it deletes the objects in the other collection. After some researches on internet, i still can't figure how to clean my collections. Help :)
Hi David BBlob Marley ,
Those Objects are Linked, so they are the same Objects in two different Collections.
What you can do, is to move non-'duplicates' into a new/different Collection and then right click the Collection with the Linked Objects and then Delete Hierarchy.
Tip: test this first on a new simple File. Otherwise, if something doesn't work as expected, simply use CTRL+Z to Undo.
Thank you for the answer, unfortunately that is not working. The problem seems to be that all the objects are in another object. When i try to move something, that just makes a copy and if i try to unlink it delete all the copies. Also tried to move in a new collection and delete hierarchy, every time it is the same result, i can not delete one copy without deleting every other copies. If i delete the floor, i delete everything :p
Perhaps this lesson from the Blender Basic will help you out:

JL will explain that hierarchy as parenting and you'll understand how it all goes.
I personally use collection manager addon for this, with that said, the way you can do it in vanilla blender is not that hard. Just follow these steps.
Note: If you want to add the object to another collection without removing them from the collections that they're in use shift+m.
If you want to just remove the object from a few collection, but want to leave it set to the other collections you can also manage collection membership for each object thru the object tab of the properties editor under the collections panel.
***Edit*** just realized that they are parented(Dashed line on the side) you will want to move them to the same collection as the object that they are parented to.
Hey David,
Those Objects are not Duplicates! They are Linked!
If you Delete the Object ('original'), the Link gets lost to, because there is no longer something to link to....
This is more or less what I wanted you to do, by advising to try this in a simple file.
If you stand before a mirror, there is you and your mirror image; if you remove the mirror, you will still be there, but the mirror image is gone. If you leave the mirror, but go away yourself, your mirror image and you will both be gone.
So, Delete the other Collection; not the one with the links.
If you don't remember which were the originals, just Delete one Object and see if the other gets Deleted as well.
Thx for the answers. Didn't work for me, event if i delete the object that is not the original, it delete the other to. The same goes by adding them in a new collection and delete the collection or the hierarchy. I would like to find a way to move out all the objects inside the object name 'Floor' in the picture.
UPDATE : Finally managed to do it. I unlinked the object 'Floor' (so the floor was deleted) and all the subs-objects was free again. It was messy because i moved some of them with the floor before so there were not at the right place but in the end, i just had to replace them and redo the floor. There is no more copies of all the objects and they are where they belong.
Thanks again for the help.
