Good to know that the mesh can be split when making fine details. Looking forward to the next course :)

Looks cool, but can I please ask what a polybook is?

The grates you added look super cool.ย

Polybook is just a collection of your work. You can create a thread in the forum and upload all your work as you go along learning and see how you progress in time.ย

It's motivating to have people look at my work. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Shading Bevel blurs the edges, but seems to be quite useful depending on how it is used.

    [Soccer Ball]

The soccer ball was a good subject to remind me that choosing well is important for modeling.

I forgot to post the snowmen. They are all in the same file and are lined up as they are made. I will be happy as they increase.

I like how they all look together. Basically the Snowman got a gift on the box and it was the soccer ball. Such a big box for a little ball, but that's how Snowman's roll.

Curve's custom bevel and Curve Modifier are useful!

It's like a drawer in your closet where you keep all the models you've modeled. Soon that place will be filled with stuff.

My issue with subdivision surfaces is that I can't neatly set up multiple materials on a single object. Boundaries are distorted. :(

For Subsurface modeling, there are all sorts of tricks, for instance:

I think this is what you are talking about, is that right?

Oh, I really love that left Cookie!

Thanks Martin, yes that image is correct. The Face with the material assigned is not filled. :(

By making sure to measure and create a real scale, the entire room looks more unified and authentic.
