VFX Simulation - How to hide the original object used by the particle system?

Hello, I am working on a building destruction simulation. I am trying to figure out why original object (sphere) which is acting as an emitter and used by the particle system, keep showing up on my viewport renders? I had the same issue when working on a colossal nuclear explosion. I thought I solved the issues by unclicking "Show emitter".     Hi Patrick,

    That should do the trick, but could it be, that you have two Emitters? That looks like an Icosphere to me.

    Maybe you could also disable the render icon in the Outliner? Don't know if a simple solution as that could do the trick though.
