I'm not one to join forums and that. So there's more practice than just Blender in this.
I followed along and made the snowman then a spider and a flying robodog thing. Lighting never cooperated with me so that's something I'll work on.
I gave the snowman a top hat to add my own touch and the same with the spider, I made the hat by flattening a cylinder and parenting it to the bigger cylinder. Just to make it easier to work with. Same with the cylinders under the dog.
