Tracking dots and videos missing?

I can't seem to find the tracking dots in the course files, is it possible they got lost in the void somewhere during the upload?

Also I'm not sure if the video clips were supposed to be in the files separately or not, but I don't see them anywhere. They're easy enough to download from the website, however when I open the file for the project there is not footage in it either.

Oh wow, good catch, I forgot to get those in the course files! Sorry about that! I will update the course files download, but in the meantime, here's is a link to the tracking dots image.

The video clips could NOT be packaged with the files because of the partnership with ActionVFX.

I included Chapter 4, Lesson 3 to show how to prepare the footage and also how to load it in, but it sounds like you're on top of that!

    Thanks for the link, Sean.

Totally get it about the footage. grabbed them from the website and threw them in, just didn’t quite connect the dots at first when opening the included file.

Gonna keep wrapping my head around nodes and noodles :)

So just in case someone else runs into any issue with this I'm gonna leave my problem and solution here:

Problem: When I opened the provided course file I saw the motion tracks but not the clip, because of above mentioned reasons. However when I brought in the sequence I created following lesson 3 I had the clip but not the tracking information.

Solution: I opened the course file with the missing image sequence again, went to File -> External Data -> Find Missing Files and navigated to where I saved the image sequence. That way I got the clip with the tracking data working in the course file.

I might have missed something along the way though, so please correct me in that case. I don't know if there is a way to copy tracking data from one clip to another?

I had a similar issue but different solution. When identifying missing files, it had a file path which didn't relate to any of my folders. I eventually spotted the Footage tab (hours later) in the Tracking Editor and redefined the file path for the footage (whilst in the tracking clip) and was finally able to have my tracking data and clip in the same frame.
