Hey all,
Not sure how many people in the community are doing much 3d scanning. I've had Kiri Engine for awhile now and I've scanned a handful of things. I've had some pretty great results.
However, I see Kiri is allowing you to upload drone footage. Has anyone done so? I haven't done much for single point of interest filming such as buildings or anything. I have mostly landscape footage, which I would assume wouldn't be usable. My other thought was, could I make HDRIs from pano shots?
Any thoughts?

Hello Blaine. I can't say I have tried any of that. But I think you will have much more luck on the CG Cookie Discord than here on the forums. Perhaps there someone on Discord that has ventured into photogrammetry, HDRI and Drones. We may not have hoover boards or flying cars, but 2024 tech is not that bad.

Anyway, I'll jump on the discord and probe some smarter minds to see what they think. Although, worst case scenario I'll just upload some footage to Kiri and see what happens haha.
