Z Not entering keyframe

posted to: Arcing Bounce

It's not clear if this is a bug or not, but I have auto keyframes selected, along with Available

- X, Y, and Z channels are inserted when I move, rather than just X and Z. I would expect Y to not be created since I deleted the first one we made, so it is not an "available" channel.

- When I went to move the ball to the top left position, it created a Z keyframe... that showed in the graph editor as extending all the way to the right. As in, there were no Z keyframes created when I moved the ball to the right on the floor. It looks like Z did not actually create and I needed to go in and make sure Z was actually creating keyframes at each of the dots in the playback view, manually.

It's not clear how it's *supposed* to work but it doesn't seem to be working as described in this version (4.1). There is some issue with auto keyframing when you aren't changing the actual parameter of the channel.

    Hi cchalecampb ,

Make sure you have Only Active Keying Set enabled in the Auto Keying 'dropdown':
